(a) Basic Details: This includes your first name, surname and country. These are required for Cole8 to have a basic knowledge of account holders on Cole8 PRIMER. This information is not made public nor is it shared with a third party. You can however, choose to make any of it public through your profile by explicitly changing the settings within your account.
(b) Login Details: This consists of: (i) Email: This is your active email account. It is required as a unique identifier for your account and it must first be validated before your account can be activated. Your email is required for logging into your account. (ii) Password: This is required to secure your account and to prevent illegal access to your account. It is your responsibility to use a secure password and to keep it secret. You agree to bear all loses that may arise from your failure to keep it secure and secret.
Information that you may wish to make public on your profile includes your (a) basic details - a profile picture, name, sex, age, etc, (b) contact details - street address, email, phone, fax, etc, (c) personal web pages - your personal pages on websites outside Cole8.
You can make all or part of each of these items public by ticking the checkbox or any other control that is provided for that purpose. Also, you can change your settings at any time. All your profile information is non-public by default.
Please note that you are NOT required to create a public profile of yourself, hence, you do not have to make public any of your information. Any information, once shared cannot be withdrawn with all certainty as it may have been copied or re-shared by anyone who accesses it. Hence, take caution when sharing your personal information. It is recommended that you make public a minimum of information with links to your personal web pages.
To make these possible, you interact with the service by providing relevant information regarding what you promote. These include: (a) Ad Details: These include the title, body, and a web page (if any) associated with the ad. The title and body of the a d are required. A "Search Term" to be associated with the ad is also required. (b) Contact Details: This may include name (of an individual or organization), address, email, telephone and fax for further information.
In addition to these two, Cole8 PRIMER automatically injects the time on which the ad was created (or last modified). ALL information provided as part of an ad is PUBLIC. Make sure to provide only needed contact information. If a web page is provided, then no contact detail is required. Otherwise, at least one contact detail is required. Since all ads are public, Cole8 may reproduce, further share, transmit and communicate ads, through means which currently exist (such as Cole8 PRIMER) or other means that may be developed in the future. Please be aware that not all instances of this ad can/may be removed from the media through which they are transmitted or shared or redistributed. By using the service, you agree to provide true, accurate non-offensive, non-discriminatory and current information in all your ads. You agree that consequent to a violation of this condition, Cole8 may, without warning, suspend or terminate your account.
Note: You must be an authorised representative of any individual or organization whose products or services you promote on Cole8 PRIMER. Also, before you share contact details of any individual or organization, be sure to obtain permission to do so. You agree that Cole8 shall not be held liable for any loss or litigation that may arise from the violation of this stated condition.
Cole8 will not share your friend's name or email with anyone.
Client Device and Browser information may also be logged. These include browser type and version, location, and IP address.
Cookies may be stored on users' computers to make it easy for them to be logged in automatically whenever they come back to their accounts. This is activated only if the user selects the option. Other cookies are used to store users' preferences and other settings. Passwords are not stored in cookies.
All the information that Cole8 collects as you interact with the website (within or outside your account) is not shared with a third party.
